Discoveries on radiation effects
In May, 2010, the “interphone study” was conducted, spamming several countries and analyzing the risk of cancer posed by cellphones and other cell phone radiation effects. The results, compiled from the 13 countries that participated in the study, are available in the “International Journal of Epidemiology.” Here, we’ll discuss how cell phones increase the risks of having brain cancer.
The study reviews brain tumors, including acoustic neuroma (a tumor formed of nerve tissue) and tumors of the parotid gland, and summarizes the data on cell phone radiation and its associated cancer risk. The study showed that “heavy” use of one’s cell phone increased the chances of having Glomma by up to 40%, with the tumor usually starting on the exact side of the head that the person usually held their phone.
Contrary to what one might think, “Heavy” use of mobile phones is only thirty minutes usage per day. It is obvious that the average person today uses their phone for well over thirty minutes every day. Worse, one doesn’t have to be actually using the phone for it to have effects. Merely being turned on and being in one’s bio-field is enough for its radiation o alter one’s body frequency and immune system.
Effects of technological advances
People are now used to surfing the net, watching TV and using various social media on their smart phones, with many more apps being developed on a daily basis. More people are cancelling their land lines, and using their phones exclusively. All this means that more people are exposed to cell phone radiation effects in greater amounts, and are at increased risk of having brain cancer.
Laptop and Desktop monitors are another cause for concern, as they are major emitters of radiation. E-readers, tablets and other such devices are also major culprits. Generally, European countries have higher radiation safety standards, with Sweden prescribing a maximum of 0.25 milligauss at 50cm (about 20 inches) while in USA and Canada, many screens emit 5-100 milligauss at the same distance. What is certain is that the usage of computers, whether desktop or laptop has increased dramatically over the years and naturally, the attendant radiation and risks have increased as well. In this, children are far more susceptible due to their less developed immune systems.
Short and long term risks
The US department of Energy, in 1989, declared that “it has now become generally accepted that there are, indeed, biological effects due to field exposure” from EMFs. Apart from the short term effects, various long term studies are beginning to show higher risks of various types of cancer due to EMF exposure.
Aires Technologies offers a range of products to mitigate the harmful cell phone radiation effects in the short term, exposure can result in fatigue, headaches, heart palpitations, dizziness, lack of concentration, compromised immune function, sleep disorders, skin rashes and a decrease in general physical and mental well-being.
Long term exposure can result in mutations, cancer and various degenerative diseases. Our world today is contaminated with electro pollution, and it is now a matter of urgency to find radiation protection for ourselves and our children.
