Not everyone can afford to purchase a Jaguar; they are a luxury car at the high end of the market and their price tag reflects this status. They are exceptionally well built cars with a proud heritage, in fact, they have been supplied to many of the Kings, Queens and world leaders; proving the exclusivity, comfort and luxury these cars offer.

The latest offering from Jaguar is the F-type; it is a luxury sports coupe; the focus is on the drive, the car handles perfectly and the steering is responsive with plenty of feedback. There are a range of models, from the entry level F-Type to the F-Type R; the fastest of the group and equipped with bigger wheels and a few additional styling tips such as sill extensions and quad exhaust pipes. There is also a range of convertible options; their specs are the same as the coupe but the roof comes off!

Unfortunately, these cars are not cheap, the 2016 entry level F-Type is listed with Budds’ Imported Cars at $77,500. The top of the range 2016 F-Type R has a starting price of $117,500. This may put these cars out of the reach of many people but there are ways to lower the Jaguar F-Type price:

The Latest

The prices listed with Budds Imported cars are for a brand new, 2016 F-Type. Of course, there will be some if the 2015 range left in stock and these cars will now be out of date! In essence they look the same and are almost identical to the 2016 version, but as they are already registered as 2015 they are correspondingly cheaper! The standard F-Type is selling for $72,900 which offers a respectable saving of $4,600 off the current list price. The F-type R, on the other hand, offers a saving of $7,600; last year’s model is currently listed at $109,900. Every one of the Jaguar’s registered on a 2015 plate can be purchased for less than the current retail price although they are still brand new cars.

Demo

Every dealer will have at least one demo car and this will be sold once it hits a certain mileage or age. Of course, this car will be used, and you will be registered as the second owner; the dealership is the first. In reality, the car will have completed very few miles and will have been well looked after. The saving you can make off the list price will be both negotiable and impressive; it may be best to note your intent with the dealer to ensure you are first in line! Of course, you will have no choice regarding the color or spec.

Pre-Owned

There is always the option to buy a used vehicle. Even the most expensive new vehicles are often sold after a year as they are replaced. These cars are usually returned to the dealer they purchased them from and they will be carefully checked before being re-sold; the original manufacturer’s warranty will probably still be valid. Again, Budds Imported cars will be able to help you locate the spec and color car you desire; although you may need to be patient!
